Practice saying these sentences aloud, or whisper if you cannot say aloud. Make sure your tongue moves. Once you are done with one set, repeat it. Do this three times before moving to the next set. Go through the rest of the lessons, one each day. Slowly, these phrases will get imprinted into your tongue's muscle memory and your brain. You will start noticing that you can recall them easily whenever the situation arises.
Day 14 · Day 16

Making Requests Politely

Ask for what you need — firmly but without sounding demanding.

Set 1
"Would you be able to"
Would you be able to send me the updated report by this afternoon?
Would you be able to join the call tomorrow if I shift it by thirty minutes?
Would you be able to review this before I share it with the client?
Would you be able to handle this one while I'm in the other meeting?
Would you be able to get back to me on this by end of day?
Would you be able to simplify this slide? It has too much text.
Would you be able to connect me with the right person on your team?
Would you be able to put together a quick summary of what was decided?
Set 2
"I wanted to check with you on"
I wanted to check with you on the timeline before I confirm with the client.
I wanted to check with you on the budget — is there any flexibility?
Before I move forward, I wanted to check with you on the approach.
I wanted to check with you on whether this has already been discussed with leadership.
I wanted to check with you on the scope — have there been any changes?
I wanted to check with you on this before I send it out.
I wanted to check with you on the priority — should this come before the other task?
I wanted to check with you on the status before the client asks us.
Set 3
"It would really help if"
It would really help if you could share the data before the meeting.
It would really help if we had a clear owner for each action item.
It would really help if you could give me a heads up before making changes.
It would really help if the client could confirm by Wednesday.
It would really help if we could get ten minutes with the leadership team.
It would really help if you could put your feedback in writing.
It would really help if both teams could align on this before Friday.
It would really help if we had one single version of this document.

This won't improve your fluency instantly — but consistent daily practice will. Keep going.
